T41 (Type 1) is a straight, flat disc — no centre depression. It cuts flush to a surface, ideal for slicing bar stock, pipe and sheet where you need a clean, level cut. T42 (Type 27) has a depressed centre, so the hub sits below the cutting plane; it is built for cutting and light grinding at an angle with a raised-hub guard.
Cut pipe / rod / sheet flush → T41.
Cut and then bevel / grind in one pass → T42.
For stainless, pick the inox-rated formula (zirconia / alumina, no iron / sulfur / chlorine) to avoid contamination.
Every disc must show Max RPM / peripheral speed (80 m/s), EN12413, and MPA where applicable. A disc run above its rated speed can shatter.
8109 (T41 metal cutting), 8111 (T41 ultra-thin for metal & inox), 8112 (inox cutting), 8113 (inox grinding), 8114 (non-ferrous). Diameters 105–230 mm, bore 22.23 mm.
