A proper stainless grinding disc uses zirconia or aluminium oxide with no added iron, sulfur or chlorine, and is labelled "for INOX / stainless". FANXI inox line: 8112 (cutting), 8113 (grinding) — both EN12413-rated.
Cutting thin stainless sheet → T41 ultra-thin (FANXI 8111) for less heat and burr.
Beveling / stock removal → T42 inox grinding disc (8113) or a flap disc (FANXI 8100 Type 27/29, zirconia) for a cleaner finish and less discoloration.
Avoid standard "for metal" discs on stainless — they leave ferrous residue.
Lower RPM than mild steel, keep the disc moving (do not dwell), and cool if needed. Discoloration = too much heat = switch disc or slow down.
8109 (metal), 8111 (ultra-thin metal & inox cutting), 8112 (inox cutting), 8113 (inox grinding), 8114 (non-ferrous), plus 8100 flap discs.
